Starting at the beginning of 2019, Arta FM started producing and broadcasting a weekly multilingual, multicultural show from Qamishli called ”Mosaic”, as well as producing one video report per week, focusing on local culture and local communities.
The show is produced and presented by producers and presenters from different backgrounds in different local languages at the same time.
In October 2019, the program was restructured and improved further and was renamed “Good Morning from Qamishlo”.
To help its producers and presenters with this task, Arta has developed a “multilingualism policy” to guide the effective production of such programs.
Arta was perhaps the first institution in NE Syria to introduce bilingual paper templates (in Arabic and Kurdish) for all its administrative forms.
